We are honoured that our Founder and Executive Director, Eniola Akintola, has been recognized with a Community Impact Award in recognition of her dedication to serving vulnerable individuals, families, newcomers, children, youth, seniors, and underserved communities across Ontario.

This award reflects years of commitment to building bridges of support, creating opportunities for others, and ensuring that no one is left behind.

From Personal Experience to Purpose-Driven Leadership

Eniola’s journey is one of resilience, faith, and determination.

Having experienced the challenges of starting over in a new country, she understands firsthand the struggles many individuals and families face when navigating life’s transitions. Rather than allowing those experiences to become barriers, she transformed them into a mission of service and advocacy.

Today, she leads multiple initiatives focused on improving lives, strengthening families, and empowering communities through practical support, education, mentorship, and compassionate care.

Our goal is to provide dependable and compassionate support while helping individuals thrive within their communities.

CareBound Institute

Recognizing the growing need for qualified and compassionate support professionals, Eniola also established CareBound Institute as a platform dedicated to education, workforce development, and caregiver training.

Through CareBound Institute, aspiring support workers, caregivers, and community service professionals receive practical training and mentorship designed to prepare them for meaningful careers in the helping professions.

The institute was created with a vision of building a workforce that serves with competence, compassion, and excellence.

David's Palace Community

The award was presented in recognition of Eniola’s leadership and community impact through David’s Palace, a nonprofit organization committed to supporting vulnerable families, immigrants, single parents, seniors, and individuals facing hardship.

Through David’s Palace, numerous initiatives have been launched, including:

Feast of David: Community outreach events that provide food, fellowship, encouragement, and practical support to individuals and families in need.
Stronger Together: A support network designed to help single parents and adult singles build meaningful connections, access resources, and thrive within a supportive community.
Strength Through Support: Programs that provide education, advocacy, and resources for families caring for individuals with disabilities and mental health challenges.

David’s Palace exists to demonstrate love through action, bringing people together across cultures, backgrounds, and circumstances.
